Our Coronavirus (COVID-19) Response

I wanted to give you an update of what our franchisees and team members are doing to continue to serve you and make an impact in our communities.

Taking Care of Our Communities

The majority of our Fazoli’s locations are owned and operated by franchisees, who are small business owners and live and work in your communities.  Both these franchisees and our company operators are vested in their neighborhoods, and so many have taken this opportunity to do their part to give back and show their support.

➡ On March 18, Fazoli’s announced an offer especially for those in our restaurant industry family, who have been hit particularly hard during this crisis. They can get a Spaghetti with Meat Sauce or Marinara and a small drink for just $2.99 in the drive-thru when they show their uniform, nametag or pay stub.

➡ Our Pharr, Texas franchisee and his team provided over 600 kids meals to the children in their community in 48 hours. In addition to free kids meals, the team provided meals to the ER doctors and nurses at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance.

➡ In Chattanooga, Tennessee, our franchisee is offering 50% off the total check for all first responders – nurses, doctors, fire, police, EMTs – just by showing their ID.

➡ Our franchisee in Morehead and Maysville, Kentucky is offering free kids meals in their communities, and in Murray, Kentucky, they are donating food for nearly 150 local nurses.

➡ In our brand’s hometown of Lexington, Kentucky, we’ve partnered with the local YMCA to provide meals for the volunteers who are providing care for the children of those in the medical field working the front line.  And in many other markets, we’ve donated a hot, comforting meal for hospital staff that are working so hard to serve us all.

This is only a sampling of the great things our team is doing across the country – because we all know how important it is to support the communities that support us.

Keeping People Safe

Our guests’ and team members’ safety is our highest priority.  In addition to the additional hand-washing and sanitizing requirements I shared in my last letter, we have implemented procedures to ensure social distancing is enabled in our kitchens, and we’re proud to be able to continue to serve your family for drive-thru, takeout and delivery visits.

Taking Care of You

While we miss being able to serve you unlimited signature garlic breadsticks in our dining rooms – that doesn’t mean you have to give up your Fazoli’s breadstick fix. We appreciate your business more than ever during these difficult times, so as our small way of saying “thanks,” next time you visit our drive-thru just ask for extra breadsticks and we’ll be happy to give you 4 per entrée purchased rather than our standard 2.

Thanks again for your loyalty and continued support. In times like this, we believe more than ever that Life Is Better with Breadsticks®.

March 20th 2020

We are doing what we can to help our restaurant industry family during these unprecedented times. Beginning today, Fazoli’s is offering all restaurant workers an industry special: Regular Spaghetti with meat sauce or marinara and a small drink for $2.99. This offer is only available through the drive-thru. Guests must show their restaurant name tag, uniform or pay stub to take advantage of the restaurant industry offer.

March 17th 2020

Our highest priority continues to be the health and well-being of everyone who comes into our restaurants – both our guests and team members. Many of our dining rooms are temporarily closing to help limit person-to-person contact. Based on local requirements, some of our restaurants may offer service only through our drive-thrus, while others may be able to offer in-restaurant takeout as well.  (Place your order at Order.fazolis.com or through the Fazoli’s mobile app and we’ll have it ready for you.)

You can always enjoy Fazoli’s without ever leaving the comfort of your car by using our drive-thru or without ever leaving your home by using one of our delivery partners.

Thanks for your patience. We know these are challenging times, and we’ll continue to do our best to serve you.

March 12th 2020

At Fazoli’s, the health and well-being of our guests and team members is our utmost priority, and as we navigate the rapidly evolving coronavirus (COVID-19) situation together, I want to share with you the extra precautions we’re taking to serve you.

We’ve established an internal team that is monitoring developments from the U.S. Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and local health authorities and communicating proactively with our franchisees and managers at the restaurant level to ensure we’re taking all necessary preventative measures. You, our valued guest, and our team members are the focus of our planning and decision making.

Supporting Our Associates

We are proactively communicating and sharing up-to-date information with team members on the best ways to keep themselves, their families and our guests, safe and healthy. To help prevent the spread of the virus, we’re requiring anyone who feels sick or has a fever to stay home. We’ve also provided resources to answer our team members’ most frequently asked questions.

Keeping Our Restaurants Clean and Safe

On top of our already-stringent safety and cleanliness standards, we’re taking additional measures to ensure that our restaurants remain a safe place to work and dine.

We are following a comprehensive cleaning and sanitization process that includes disinfecting all hard surfaces, doors and handles, and we have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting of all high-traffic areas. We have reemphasized our internal training to focus on frequent and proper hand-washing and require all team members to wash their hands every 20 minutes and to wear clean gloves.

In addition, we are providing individual condiments and moving to disposable, one-time use silverware for our dine-in orders. Bottom line: we want you to feel comfortable dining in our restaurants.

Getting Fazoli’s How You Want It

We hope you will choose to continue dining with us in the days and weeks ahead – and we continue to offer many ways for you to get your Fazoli’s fix. Drive-thru, take-out and delivery options are available as a way to enjoy Fazoli’s food in the comfort of your home or office, and as always you can skip the line and order at order.fazolis.com or through the Fazoli’s mobile app.

I want to thank you for your loyalty and continued support during a rapidly evolving situation as we make every effort to support our guests, team members and the communities we serve.
