Fazoli’s TikTok Test Kitchen Reaches 3 Million Views, Becoming Largest Menu Development Focus Group
Director, Culinary Innovation at Fazoli’s, Chef Rick Petralia invites TikTok into his Test Kitchen to have a dialog about the most unique recipe experiments
“We know that TikTok is a creator-friendly platform, so we’re approaching content through the lens of a creator, and not just a brand. Besides, Chef Rick has created some of the most innovative recipes in our industry. While not every dish he serves up can make it to a Fazoli’s menu, the dialogue with our fans is so valuable, not only creating the next great dish our guests will love, but also have them become part of the process in a fun and creative way.”
— Doug Bostick, Fazoli’s President
Fazoli’s Test Kitchen is an original series developed for TikTok, and now available on other social platforms. Season 1 explores recipe mash-ups and #stuntfood requests from fans, often found in comments and DMs. Developing menus requires great expertise, skill and discipline, but it’s also a fun creative endeavor — and our team loves testing new menu items as Chef Rick develops them. This series is a fun way for everyone to get a glimpse of the fun-side of working at Fazoli’s, going behind-the-scenes with one of the most talented chefs in the restaurant industry.
