New look, new menu for Fazoli’s

LEXINGTON, Ky. - Fazoli’s is unveiling a bright, open new look at its Tates Creek restaurant along with a new menu that is being rolled out April 30 to all locations.

The updated interior of the Tates Creek restaurant will serve as a prototype, and there are plans in place to remodel other locations in the future. Enhancing guests’ experience was foremost in the minds of planners who revamped the restaurant. Condiment and drink areas have been moved to create better flow within the restaurant and offer greater guest comfort and privacy. More booths have been added, addressing guests’ preference of booths to tables.

Other changes include upgraded restrooms, Corian counters tops on the redesigned condiment stand and front counter, new interior lighting, upgraded exterior lighting, and new easy-to-read menu boards.

“The whole restaurant just has a much more open, airy feel to it,” Chief Executive Officer Bob Weissmueller said. “We are eager to get feedback from our guests.

In addition to a new look, Fazoli’s is introducing its new “Aaaahtalian Menu.” The new selections include four crisp “Italian Market” salads, Meat Lasagna and Rigatoni Romano.

The salads – all topped with chicken breast – are packed with flavorful toppings such as bacon, grape tomatoes, croutons, red onions, pineapple chunks and dried cranberries.

“There is a demand for food that is fast, fresh and good,” Weissmueller said. “The new ‘Aaaahtalian Menu’ delivers that—with a huge variety of tempting choices, full of flavor.”

Weissmueller, noting that most fast-food menus are full of trans fat, said the “Aaaahtalian Menu” has more than 50 choices with zero grams of trans fat.

In addition to the new Lasagna and Rigatoni, Fazoli’s has put a new spin on other favorites like its pizza, and still offers the popular Submarino and Panini sandwiches. And just in time for the warm spring and summer months, a line of specialty flavored Italian ices have been added to the menu.

“The menu is all about choices and it truly satisfies the hungers of any individual or family,” Weissmueller said.

Fazoli’s, headquartered in Lexington, Ky., has 313 restaurants in 31 states. The Tates Creek restaurant is located at 4204 Saron Drive in the Tates Creek South Shopping Center.
