Lexington, Ky. – Fazoli’s, the Italian restaurant popular with families, has introduced its new table service to restaurants in 14 more communities in Kentucky, Indiana, Iowa and Nebraska. Instead of ordering and returning to the counter to get their food, guests now will relax and enjoy Fazoli’s famous breadsticks and beverages until servers deliver their meals.
Called the Expanded Service Program, it was designed to make dining more enjoyable and convenient, especially for families. It includes the return of dining room breadstick delivery. As part of the new service style, traditional plates and silverware have replaced Styrofoam, plastic and paper.
Fazoli’s began introducing table service and remodeling its restaurants, using a fun, contemporary new design, last year. The latest locations to receive the upgrades are in Omaha and Grand Island, Neb.; Des Moines and Council Bluffs, Ia., Owensboro and Bowling Green, Ky.; and Indianapolis, Evansville, Vincennes, Jasper, Terre Haute, Lafayette, South Bend and Fort Wayne, Ind.
Carl Howard, Fazoli’s president and CEO, said Fazoli’s wants to make it easier for busy families to find time to enjoy a tasty and affordable meal together. “As Fazoli’s continues to introduce our Expanded Service Program and remodel our restaurants, guests are saying, ‘Wow,’ and telling us they really like all the changes,” Howard said.
Fazoli’s, based in Lexington, Ky., also has revamped its food but kept prices affordable, Howard said. Just in time for spring, new chopped salads were recently introduced. Country Caesar, Fazoli’s Italian House, Cherry Almond Chicken and Pasta Ranch Italia have joined Fazoli’s lineup of pastas and Submarinos sandwiches. Entrees start at just $4.99.
Fazoli’s opens at 10:30 a.m. seven days a week, closing at 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and at 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Its award-winning Kids Night is Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. and features special activities and deals for kids. Fazoli’s offers catering, including online ordering.
