Managers-in-training are Supported and Coached throughout the training process, and are encouraged to take Ownership of their development. Detailed lesson plans ensure you Repeat tasks to build the proficiency necessary to Execute our Mission Statement, “Serving America premium quality Italian food fast, fresh and friendly.”
Our Manager GAME Training program is designed to develop your personal strengths and provide you with the technical skills to be a successful and effective manager. Initial training is divided into four levels and takes seven weeks to complete. Training begins with a concentrated overview of each Associate-level position and moves on to focus on shift management responsibilities that ensure our Guests receive great service and premium quality food.
Continuous development is supported through three stages of certification. The first stage teaches the basics and prepares managers to help Associates SCORE through their own GAME Training program. The second stage continues to build proficiency and knowledge within the position, and the final stage focuses on personal growth by developing behavioral strengths and opportunities.
Are you ready for some fun? At Fazoli’s, our Associate GAME Training program is designed to be just that.
Training begins with an orientation session that includes an interactive tour and scavenger hunt. Once complete, Associates begin training at the Green Tomato level, which teaches the basics of your first position. After being certified as a Green Tomato, your development continues to the Yellow Tomato level, which focuses on building your proficiency level and knowledge of the position. When you are ready to master the position, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate the ability to train other Associates. Upon your success, you will be awarded with the Red Tomato certification which certifies you to train other Associates through the module.
Use your GAME Piece along the way to help you work each position enough times to develop your proficiency. Certification through each level of training is recognized with personalized green, yellow and red tomato stickers that are placed on the restaurant’s GAME Board.
